Westport Day School

Admissions Criteria

The Westport Day School accepts boys and girls in grades 6 – 12 and students who qualify for a gap year program, post – high school. We may accept students who present with:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression
  • Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities
  • Asperger’s Disorder
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Attachment Disorders
  • Mood Disorders
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Tourette’s Syndrome
  • School phobia and Refusal

The Westport Day School DOES NOT accept students who present with:

  • Oppositional-Defiant Disorder
  • Conduct Disorder
  • Antisocial Personality Disorder
  • Dysregulated, Explosive, and/or violent behaviors
  • The inability to regulate behavior in a small setting
  • Serious, unmanaged psychotic, eating, substance misuse, or mood symptoms
